Abstract

The article is a detailed review of the collective monograph “National Identity and Col­lective Memory: Between the Past and the Future”,published in Crimea. The authors are scientists from different cities of Russia, as well as Serbia and Kazakhstan, representa­tives of different branches of humanitarian science. The monograph presents theoretical research on the problems of identity and identification, the modern identity crisis, in par­ticular in the post-Soviet space, problems of collective memory in relation to interethnic relations, the politics of memory in various states, technologies of influence on the for­mation of national identity and collective memory. The analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of this work is a primary focus of this review.
