The article provides an overview of the All-Russian scientific conference “Tradition and Modernity: Axiology of Russian Civilization” dedicated to the discussion of the concept of traditional values, which are declared as the state policy priority in Russia. The review reveals the content of the conference participants’ reports, reflects the most interesting moments of the discussions, and outlines the essence of the speakers’ constructive proposals for implementing the strategy for preserving and strengthening spiritual and moral values.
